Dickon Sowerby is twelve years old, born and raised on the moors of Yorkshire, England. He’s level-headed and friendly, with a mixture of open honesty and discretion that makes him easy to like and trust. His formal education is rudimentary—he can read, but can barely write—but he has a wealth of practical knowledge about animals and plant life, as well as a wisdom that goes beyond his years. He’s a talented gardener, a hard worker, and a trustworthy friend. He is most distinguishable for the way he relates to animals, unobtrusively observing their ways until he understands them as well as if he were one himself. He applies this same tactic to his relationship with people, understanding them, in some cases, better than they understand themselves.

Note: If your character is an animal or has an animal form, Dickon will likely be able to understand their mannerisms and actions as clearly as if they were speaking to him. His mun, however, will not, so OOC communication will be appreciated.
